Job Summary

Duties And Responsibilities
Provide high-quality teaching of DAEE undergraduate agricultural business economics and financial engineering courses and possibly masters level courses. Their scholarship will result in publications in leading disciplinary peer-reviewed journals. The area of scholarship for this position will focus on the economics of agricultural production with opportunities to explore related fields in farm management precision agriculture energy economics and financial risk/econometrics. Advise undergraduate and graduate students and participate in the departments tradition of outreach to state national and global audiences. The positions consist of 45% teaching (3 courses per year) 45% scholarship and 10% service and is funded by 50% appointment with the Montana Agricultural Experiment Station ( MAES ) and 50% College of Agriculture appointment.
