Job Summary
Were hiring two developers for our Power & Protect business unit home to Elskling and Zmarta Insurance. Here you wont just write code youll ship features that help thousands of users make smarter decisions about their energy and insurance every single day.
We believe in removing friction from development. That means modern tooling like Claude Code for AI-assisted development automated workflows that handle the boring stuff and a culture where shipping beats meetings. Your ideas go from concept to production fast and youll see the impact in real time.

About the Role
Youll join an experienced tech team that moves fast and ships often. Small team real influence: your decisions shape the product and youll see results in days not months.
Youll work cross-functionally with Product UX marketing and business development close enough to understand why youre building not just what. Youll also collaborate across Axos broader distributed tech organization as we scale.
Were agile and data-driven: continuous integration TDD and pair programming are how we work not buzzwords on a slide. Full-stack experience is a plus but what matters most is that youre curious and ready to grow. AI is our multiplier not our autopilot were actively integrating it into how we build with humans driving every decision.
Our Tech Stack
Modern JavaScript at the core: Node and TypeScript in a component-driven architecture. and PHP in legacy corners youll help us evolve those. Everything runs on AWS and the team owns the full lifecycle: you build it you ship it you monitor it. No handoffs no waiting.

About You
You are a quality-driven creative and solution-oriented developer who thrives in a team where collaboration is key. You have experience with multiple programming languages cloud environments and deployment workflows preferably using AWS. You bring at least three years of relevant software development experience.
Youre comfortable working in an agile setup with stand-ups sprints tickets continuous releases and retrospectives. You communicate well in both Swedish and English. You have a relevant educational background and a strong interest in software and web development. You enjoy improving maintaining and evolving existing products and youre happy to share new ideas perspectives and energy with the team.
