As the project expands they are seeking a motivated Contamination Coordinator to support environmental compliance and ensure safe well-managed construction activities across a large multi-site program.
This role is ideal for someone early in their environmental career who enjoys practical field work problem-solving and collaborating with construction teams. You will work closely with senior specialists and gain exposure to large-scale civil and tunnelling operations.
About the Role
In this hands-on position you will support the investigation monitoring and management of contamination across various work zones. Your work will directly contribute to safe construction outcomes and environmental compliance across the project.
Key functions include:
Supporting contamination assessments for soil and groundwater.
Assisting with remediation planning for complex operational locations.
Conducting field monitoring sampling and coordination with laboratories.
Reviewing consultant reports and ensuring consistent documentation.
Liaising with site teams to provide contamination guidance and coaching.
Maintaining accurate risk compliance and inspection records.
Requirements

A degree in Environmental Engineering Science Sustainability or similar.
13 years experience in contaminated land soil/groundwater investigations or remediation.

A White Card and a valid drivers licence (mandatory).
