Supply Quality Manager
Location : Oslo / Halden
Welcome to the Team
Join the Power Transmission (PWR-T) Quality team at Nexans reporting to the Quality Director and based in Oslo or Halden.
You will collaborate closely with Purchasing Supply Chain Engineering and Project Management teams worldwide to ensure suppliers meet the highest standards.
This role has been created to strengthen our supplier quality focus as we continue to deliver some of the worlds most complex and impactful high-voltage subsea and land cable projects.

As Supplier Quality Manager you will play a critical role in electrifying the future.
Your mission is to ensure that every supplier delivers products and services that are fit for purpose on time and to specification supporting Nexans ambition to connect countries and enable renewable energy.
From day one you will help build a high-performing reliable supplier network while actively promoting Quality and HSE across our global projects.
How You Make an Impact
- Lead supplier qualification and non-conformance processes ensuring world-class standards.
- Plan and conduct supplier audits and performance reviews driving continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain supplier quality procedures and KPIs including the Approved Vendor List (AVL).
- Drive supplier development and risk-mitigation initiatives to secure reliable on-time deliveries.
- Collaborate across functions to embed supplier excellence in every project.
Your Starting Points
- Degree in Quality Management Engineering or a related field.
- 57 years of experience in QA HSE or risk management within manufacturing.
- Quality Auditor certification and proven hands-on audit experience.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools (8D FMEA root-cause analysis) and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Fluency in English (Norwegian is a plus) and a mindset aligned with our values: Pioneer Dedicated United.
