Job Summary
- Inspect troubleshoot diagnose and repair various types and brands of heavy equipment.
- Utilize computerized and other testing equipment to determine repairs and create detailed service reports.
- Contribute to the ongoing reliability of all heavy equipment and ensure compliance with preventitve maintenance requirements.
- Test repaired equipment to verify proper maintenance.
- Preparation of accurate written repair order sheets and reports
- Interpretation of service manuals schematics lube charts repair orders etc.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Overtime as required
- Work successfully and efficiently with minimal supervision
EXPERIENCE
- At least 4 years experience ideally with mechanics license
- Experience with diesel engine equipment and some experience with gasoline engine experience specifically Caterpillar & John Deer.
- Safety training and experience is an asset
COMPENSATION INFORMATION
The expected salary range for this position is $28.00 - $45.00 per hour. Placement within the range is dependant on a variety of factors including qualifications and experience.
