What youll do
Responsibilities
- Maintain the grounds surrounding the building ensuring it is safe and aesthetically pleasing
- Manage and conduct daily weekly and monthly inspections/checks
- Assists with moving and storage of supplies and equipment
- Report on equipment malfunctions
- Maintain and make adjustments and minor repairs to heating cooling ventilation plumbing electrical systems etc.
- Performs other routine maintenance such as painting drywall repair etc.
- Contact and follow-up with contractors technicians and service representatives utilized by the organization when necessary
- Available for emergency calls
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor
What youll need
Qualifications
- Knows basic carpentry welding furnace repair small appliance repair and safety regulations
- Must be self directed dependable conscientious and lead by example
- Ability to organize and complete assigned workloads
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Physically fit/able to perform physically demanding job duties
- Able to work as part of a team with other Department
- Previous maintenance experience is an asset
- Must posess a valid drivers licence
- Must be double vaccinated
- Must be able to provide a clear criminal record/vulnerable sector search
