Logan Health Medical Center is looking for an RN to be part of our dynamic imaging team!
This important role will provide nursing support for outpatient CT MRI and mammography procedures and some coverage for our Nuclear Medicine department. This position is great for a nurse that loves an interesting work environment with variety in their day!

What Youll Be Doing:
Preparing patients for procedures and starting IVs and port access
Assist Nuclear Medicine with treadmill stress tests as needed
Administering medications and monitoring for symptoms and adverse reactions
Completing chart reviews and identifying contraindications
Pre-procedure phone calls and patient preparation
Support patients after procedures with discharge instructions port removal and education as needed
Responding to codes or and providing rapid response to medical emergencies during procedures
Who you are:
You are a nurse who demonstrates flexibility and confidence in a role that involves a broad range of variety. Capable of working autonomously with strong clinical judgment while also collaborating effectively within a team environment. Strong IV skills are highly preferred. You are also adaptable composed during changing conditions and able to shift priorities as needed to support high quality care!

Qualifications:
Current Montana RN License or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required.
BSN degree preferred.
Current HCP CPR certification required.
Minimum of two (2) years nursing experience preferred.
Current ACLS and PALS certification may be required in certain departments and successfully obtained within six (6) months of hire.
Excellent organizational skills detail-oriented a self-starter possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact professionalism and diplomacy.
Other Job Specific Duties:
Performs patient assessment. Utilizes all available sources of information and incorporates the patients perception of illness.
Develops an individualized plan of care for each patient and updates the plan throughout the visit as appropriate.
Consistently identifies safety issues concerning the patient and staff during visit.
Independently reviews medication lists and provides ongoing medication or treatment education at the directive of physician or advanced practice provider.
Coordinates with healthcare team to provide continuity of care.
Utilizes department Standard of Care and individualizes care provided on an on-going basis per department standards.
Administers medications per provider order.
Demonstrates a commitment to professionalism while undertaking and completing all department competencies.

Shift:
Day Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America)Schedule: Full-time 40 hours per week 8 hour shifts. Shifts typically are between 0800 - 1630 but may vary slightly based on patient schedule.
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
