IT Infrastructure / Network / Desktop Support
Location: Houston TX 77024

Overview:
Seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure & Support Technician to maintain a resilient hospital technology environment. This role provides frontline desktop device and network support to clinical and administrative staff and ensures high availability for clinical systems and connected medical devices.

Responsibilities:

Provide desktop support including installation configuration and repair of desktops/laptops WOWs (Workstations on Wheels) printers badge readers and VoIP phones.
Support network operations including L2/L3 switching routing wireless AP deployment site surveys and troubleshooting.
Ensure proper connectivity of medical devices and interfaces with EHR systems.
Maintain IDF/MDF/BDF closets including UPS redundancy patching hardware lifecycle and equipment inventory.
Monitor and resolve incidents with clinical urgency; create knowledge base articles and document resolutions in ServiceNow.
Support network migrations and large-scale device deployments.

Required Qualifications:

36 years of experience in IT infrastructure network and desktop/device support.
Prior experience in hospital or clinical IT environments strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of Windows OS; basic Linux familiarity.
Solid understanding of TCP/IP VLANs Wi-Fi concepts and troubleshooting methodologies.
Experience working with large node counts and network migration activities.
Ability to triage and resolve issues in fast-paced clinical settings.

Security & Firewalls: Palo Alto Panorama.
