Manager - Financial Accounting Advisory Services

The opportunity

As our Manager youll partner with Chief Finance Officers their finance teams and wider connected business areas to create long-term value trust and confidence within their organizations. Combiningyour commercial experience deep sector and regulatory knowledge with your expertise in financial accounting and reporting and finance function leading practicesyou will drive outcomes and provide advice across a wide range of finance function topics. Our aim is to have an engaged and highly capable team performing meaningful work in a sustainable practice.

This role is based in Naarm Melbourne. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

Your key responsibilities

• You will partner with Chief Finance Officers their finance teams and wider connected business areas to create long-term value trust and confidence within their organizations.

Skills and attributes for success

Ideally youll have the skills and attributes below but dont worry if you dont tick all the boxes. Were interested in your aptitude attitude and willingness to learn.

• A minimum of 6 years relevant experience and CA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Excellent leadership and project management skills with a proven ability to execute under pressure.
• An understanding of how a transaction works (i.e. business acquisitions and business disposals) and the operational impacts for the business/finance function.
• A degree in accounting and/or another appropriate academic major.
