As Director of Sales and Marketing you will drive revenue and promote the hotels brand by developing sales and marketing plans managing the sales team and building client relationships. This role requires leadership market insight and a results-driven mindset with strong communication negotiation and analytical skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned):
As the Director of Sales and Marketing you will be pivotal in driving revenue growth and enhancing the hotels market presence through strategic sales and marketing initiatives.
Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing plans to maximize revenue and market share aligning with Marriotts standards.
Lead the sales team providing training and guidance to ensure high performance and achievement of sales targets.
Cultivate relationships with key clients partners and stakeholders to expand the hotels reach and drive business growth.
Collaborate with other departments such as operations and front office to ensure cohesive execution of marketing strategies and exceptional guest experiences.
Analyze market trends competitor activities and customer feedback to refine strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
Oversee digital marketing efforts including social media email campaigns and online advertising to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
Manage budgets and resources efficiently to ensure cost-effective marketing practices and optimal return on investment.
As the Director of Sales and Marketing at Courtyard by Marriott you will be a vital part of a team dedicated to hospitality excellence. Demonstrated capability to engage positively with guests from a wide range of socioeconomic cultural disability and ethnic backgrounds.
A Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Marketing Hospitality or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
A minimum of five years of progressive experience in sales and marketing within the hospitality industry with a distinct advantage for those experienced with the Marriott brand.
Strong emphasis on guest satisfaction combined with exceptional professional demeanor and presentation skills.
A customer-centric mindset with refined professional presentation abilities.

Knowledge and Skills:
