Job Summary
Leidos is seeking a Computer/Network Support Specialist to ensure the reliability and security of missioncritical systems and this role youll maintain infrastructure troubleshoot outages and support security authorizations while working in a collaborative highimpact environment at our customer site in Suitland MD.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve local area network (LAN) issues providing timely event notifications.
- Use diagnostic tools (e.g. visual fault locators Ethernet testers) to maintain optical and copper cabling.
- Image maintain and repair enduser hardware including workstations phones and printers.
- Communicate scheduled upgrades and maintenance activities to stakeholders.
- Create and maintain accurate site documentation using Visio.
- Deliver firstline enduser support and escalate tickets when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI.
- Bachelors degree with 4 years of relevant experience OR Masters degree with 2 years of experience OR Equivalent experience training or certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Active IAT Level II DoD Approved 8570 Baseline (e.g. Security CE) or the ability to obtain prior to start date.
- Active CCNA certification or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Proficiency with Cisco configurations (EIGRP BGP SNMP TCP/IP OSPF VLANs VPN NAT GRE IPSEC).
- Experience with packet capture traffic analysis and vulnerability remediation.
- Strong understanding of the OSI model and multiprotocol routing (VRF VPN EIGRP BGP OSPF VPLS).
