The Opportunity
Within EYs Assurance service line our professionals provide:

• ServicesrelatingtoHKMA/SFCIndependentreviews(includingpreorpostreviewassurance/attestation)
• Internalcontrolreview&assuranceservices(includingISAE3000ISAE3402reports)
• Servicesfocusedonensuringtheeffectivenessofremediationefforts
• Regulatoryfilingandreporting

Responsibilities:

• Takingownershiponworkstreamsonengagements
• Workingaspartofalargerteamandday-to-daycommunicationwithclients
• TakingresponsibilityfortheconductofreviewsandpreparationofreportsaccordingtoEYmethodology
  makingoralpresentationsoffindings/recommendationstoclientsmanagementteam(s)
• Identifyingtheimpactofforthcomingregulatorychangeandsupportclientsonthepotentialimpact
• IdentifyingandtestingkeysystemsandcontrolsfordemonstratingcompliancewithapplicableSFC/HKMAregulations
• Assessingandadvisingclientsinbuildingaholisticgovernanceandriskmanagementframeworkinresponseto
  remediationoffindingsand/orevolvingregulatoryrequirements
• Contributingtobusinessdevelopmentincludingbiddingproposalsandgo-to-marketmaterials

Requirements:

• Bachelorsdegreepreferablyinoneofthefollowingareas:Accounting/Finance/RiskManagement/BusinessManagementorotherrelatedmajors
• Professionalqualification(s)suchasCPAFRMCFAorequivalentarepreferred
• Atleast2yearsrelevantexperienceinprovidingaudit/riskadvisoryservicesforthefinancialservicesindustry
• KnowledgeandexperiencewithintheBankingandCapitalMarketsorWealthandAssetmanagement
  withastrongunderstandingoftheregulatorychallengeswithintheHongKong/GreaterChinamarket
• DetailedunderstandingoftheHKMAorSFCrequirements
• Experiencedinperformingcontrolsandassurancerelatedregulatoryprojects
• Strongreportwritingskillsandexcellentcommunication/presentationskills
• Experiencewithregulatorybodiesideal
