The Quality Assurance Associate helps set up and run quality management systems to make sure that the organizations products and services meet both internal and external standards. The person who gets the job will work with people from different departments to make sure the company follows the rules do inspections and push for continuous improvement.
Main Duties:
Check that products and processes meet quality standards by doing regular inspections audits and tests.
Write down and report quality problems deviations and non-conformances; help with finding the root cause and taking corrective action.
Help create and keep up-to-date standard operating procedures (SOPs) work instructions and quality documents.
Help with audits inside and outside the company including planning carrying them out and following up.
Keep an eye on and analyze quality metrics and then make reports to share what youve found and suggest ways to make things better.
Work with the production engineering and regulatory teams to solve quality problems and put best practices into action.
Stay up to date on the rules standards and new developments in quality assurance in your field.
Required:
A bachelors degree in a related field (like science engineering or quality management) or the same amount of work experience.
1-3 years of experience in quality assurance or a similar job preferably in a regulated field like food and drink pharmaceuticals medical devices or manufacturing.
Good analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
Knowledge of ISO standards Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality management systems (QMS).
Good written and spoken communication skills.
Able to use Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software well.
Annual Salary: $55000 to $75000.
