This is a part-time role that is expected to work between 20-25 hours a week.

Pay: $13/hr

Summary

Our Drivers are responsible for safely fulfilling our participants transportation needs including transporting them to and from our administrative facility in Metairie and to offsite events as needed. They are also tasked with keeping our vehicles clean and reporting any issues regarding vehicle maintenance and safety to their supervisor. This is a part-time role and will have routes in the morning and afternoon.

Pay: $13/hour

Essential Job Functions

Provide safe and reliable transportation to passengers transported by CGArc
Ensuring all passengers are properly seated and secured in vehicles
Ensuring people in wheelchairs are safely secured
Ensuring proper supervision of passengers
Follow all safety protocols including reporting accidents following all traffic safety laws and ensuring the safety of all passengers
Maintains daily trip logs and other related paperwork

Education/Experience Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older & have a valid drivers license
Drivers must have a clean motor vehicle report and be insurable under the agencys insurance
Have and maintain a valid drivers license
Experience working alongside individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities is preferred
Knowledge of the New Orleans metro and surrounding area
