Job Summary

We at Leggett & Platt Inc. are searching for a Supply Chain Coordinator within our Supply Chain team to help support our Furniture Hardware business.

Our Home Furniture business brings an intense focus on the customer innovation world-class manufacturing capabilities and a global footprint together to create full package solutions for the industry. We do not make furniture. We make furniture more comfortable. We need the best people on our team to support our strategy and your work will ensure people around the world have a little more comfort in their lives.

As a Supply Chain Coordinator you will have the opportunity to drive operational efficiency and customer satisfaction by managing procurement inventory control and supplier performance. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by ensuring timely delivery cost competitiveness and seamless collaboration across functions. The team you will be working with is collaborative innovative and close-knit and values problem-solving diversity of thought and continuous improvement.

So what will you be doing as a Supply Chain Coordinator

  • Analyze and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage the purchasing process including supplier performance and cost competitiveness.
  • Provide customer service support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate new product launches in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

To be successful in this role youll need:

  • 3 years of experience in a similar role; 510 years of total relevant work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain concepts and MRP systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong skills in Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Ability to work independently under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

Things we consider a plus:

  • Associates degree in a business-related field.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
  • Ability to interpret drawings BOMs and specifications.
  • Understanding of contracts and terms & conditions.
