About the Role:
Were looking for an experienced Enterprise & Application Security Architectto strengthen our global security architecture. Youll design and guide secure application frameworks protect our in-house systems and code and ensure TD SYNNEXs technology landscape remains robust compliant and future-ready.

Youll work with global teams (US Europe China) integrating security into every stage of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)and driving DevSecOpsbest practices across the enterprise.

As a senior technical leader you will ensure coherence with governance policies and standards including the ability to review and draft enterprise security standards and policies and actively participate in Architecture & Security Working Groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and evolveTD SYNNEXs secure application architecture ensuring alignment with enterprise and cybersecurity strategies.

• Embed security-by-design(shift left)into software development: threat modeling code reviews code scanningtools and automation in CI/CD pipelines.

• Conduct manual code reviewsand security assessments where automation is insufficient.

• Develop reference architecturesand roadmapscovering application component and cloud security (including WAF/CDN).

• Apply expertise in web authentication and authorization models to ensure secure access control across applications and services.

• Integrate API security best practices into architecture and development processes to safeguard data exchange and service integrity.

• Train and mentor developers andcolleagueson secure coding defensive programming and application securitybest practices.

• Collaborate across IT and business units to identify risks and close security gaps.

• Lead or support Proof of Conceptprojects to evaluate new emergingtechnologies and innovativesecurity tools.

Key Skills & Experience:

• 7 yearsin enterprise orapplication security architecture.

• Strong coding background ideally evolved from Software Security Engineer to Architect.

• Expertise in SDLC/SSDL DevSecOps and tools like SAST DAST SCA.

• Hands-on experience with threatmodeling secure code reviews and cloud-native security.

• Solid understanding of network and web application firewalls.

• Proven leadership time management and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently demonstrating integrity professionalism and to deliver results.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience collaborating across global teams and cultures.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
