About The Role:
Gen3 seeks a Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to support the zero trust and data and inventory tagging program for the IRS. The Systems Engineer will provide expert-level engineering support for design development implementation and integration of data inventory and tagging capabilities across on-prem hybrid and multi-cloud environments including AWS GCP Oracle Cloud and Azure.

Location: Remote US

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engineer and implement data discovery tagging protection and digital rights management capabilities.
  • Support Cybersecurity Information Protection Enhancement Controls tool integration across data loss prevention data inventory and tagging CASB/SASE and SIEM platforms.
  • Conduct lifecycle engineering (design testing deployment operations and maintenance).
  • Develop architecture documentation solution designs integration plans and technical troubleshooting guidance.
  • Support DEV/TEST/PROD upgrades and solution validation.
  • Participate in alternative solution research prototype development and hybrid framework design.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of science or engineering in computer science and/or related fields.
  • 10 years engineering in hybrid cloud or cybersecurity environments.
  • At least one of the following certifications or similar: CISSP CompTIA Security Comp TIA Network ITIL CCNA.
  • Deep understanding of DLP DIT Zero Trust Data Pillar IAM encryption SIEM and policy design.
  • Experience across AWS Azure GCP and Linux/UNIX systems.
