Electrical Design Engineer - Lexington KY
Location:Lexington Kentucky
Employment Type: Full-Time On-Site / Monday/Friday 6 month contract
Start Date: November 18th 2025
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Design Specialist with advanced technical expertise in design software and multidisciplinary collaboration. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing reviewing and refining detailed engineering designs and drawings in both 2D and 3D environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize AutoCAD MicroStation and Excel to develop and deliver high-quality design documentation.
- Apply advanced knowledge of 2D and 3D applications to prepare accurate and efficient engineering drawings.
- Perform and review design calculations ensuring precision and compliance with applicable standards and project requirements.
- Apply strong understanding of design theory and practices within your assigned discipline while maintaining awareness of related disciplines to ensure cohesive design solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with Project Managers Engineers and Designers in a multidisciplinary team environment to resolve design or drawing issues.
- Learn and implement new design software and technologies as needed to enhance productivity and design accuracy.
- Ensure quality consistency and attention to detail across all deliverables.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD MicroStation and Microsoft Excel.
- Proven ability to produce detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
- Strong foundation in design systems calculations and discipline-specific theory.
