About STMA Schools
We are a district that serves over6700students and employs750employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis Minnesota. Our districtconsistsof one primary school for kindergarten students three elementary schools for grades 1-4 two middle schools for grades 5-8 and one high school for grades 9-12.
Position Overview & Responsibilities
Responsible for preparing lessons instructing students with a wide range of abilities assessing student learning collecting and analyzing student data to plan instruction creating an engaging and respectful classroom environment communicating with students parent and multiple stakeholders maintaining accurate records supervising students participating in school improvement initiatives and learning professionally. Start date:1/6/2026
Contract: Tuesdays and Thursdays starting on 1/6/26 and ending on 2/26/26 for a total of 15 student contact days. 2:15-3:45pm (1 hour with students plus 30 minutes prep time after).
Pay:$45/hour for internal teachers
Openings:Up to 7 teachers will be hired as needed as determined by enrollment.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelors degree in education and required teaching certificate in related area(s) of instruction as required by the State of Minnesota specific content knowledge training or job experience required before appointment and successful student teaching.
Benefits:No benefit eligibilty other thanEarned Safe and Sick Time (ESST)as provided by law.
