Core responsibilities

Financial record-keeping: Record organize and maintain accurate financial transactions assets and liabilities.

Financial reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements such as balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements.

Budget and cash flow management: Develop and monitor budgets manage cash flow and forecast financial needs.

Tax compliance: Compute taxes owed prepare tax returns and ensure all filings are done promptly and accurately.

Auditing: Conduct internal and external audits to verify the accuracy of financial records and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

Accounts payable and receivable: Manage the process of paying bills and collecting payments to ensure timely processing.

Payroll: Process payroll including calculating wages deductions and ensuring compliance with tax laws.

Strategic and advisory duties

Financial analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends risks and opportunities for improvement.

Cost reduction and efficiency: Recommend strategies to reduce costs enhance revenue and improve profitability.

Strategic guidance: Provide financial advice and insights to management to support strategic decision-making.

Required Skills:

Work experience as an Accountant. Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks. Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
