Job Summary
Forklift Mechanic
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Mechanic to contribute to the achievement of our companys objectives by efficiently carrying out a range of mechanical work on forklifts performing general maintenance and servicing and assisting our company fitters. The ideal candidate will have a trade certificate in heavy equipment mechanics and at least 3 years of experience in a related field.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently carry out a range of mechanical work on forklifts using the most appropriate tools and machines
- Perform general maintenance and servicing of company forklifts
- Assist company fitters in spare time
- Perform routine emergency and preventative maintenance of forklifts
- Troubleshoot forklift problems including brake electrical and hydraulic systems
- Have a good working knowledge of brake systems and tire/wheel changes
- Ability to work on LP gas and diesel systems
- Replace broken or defective parts and reassemble forklifts
- Ensure work area and methods meet safety requirements
- Maintain an organized and neat work area
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Embrace the company vision and practice it in all aspects of work

Requirements
Requirements:
- Trade certificate in heavy equipment mechanics
- 3 years of experience in a related field
Benefits
3 years Contract if performance good renewed for another 3 years.
In-case contract is renewed then wages will be increased for a period of another 3 years.
Will be given 1 Round Trip Air Fare (India-Fiji-India) free of cost every 3 years.
Will get free accommodation in Fiji & free travel to work while fooding cost will be borne by the candidate which is approx. Rs 5000 per month.
Annual Leaves: Sick Leave will be 10 days Annual Leave will be 10 days per year along with Gazetted Holidays listed by the Govt of Fiji.
