PT Responsibilities
- Assess develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans with measurable goals
- Engage patients with fun and age-appropriate activities to maintain their motivation
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure the highest quality of care
PT Qualifications
- Certified Physical Therapist with a valid license to practice in Texas
Basic Physical Requirements
- Must be able to maintain various postures such as kneeling sitting standing squatting for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to regularly walk and run for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to transition from sitting to standing and vice versa independently.
- Must be able to utilize quick body movements as may be required by the behavior intervention plan.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
- Must be able to transfer/position/transport patients and adaptive equipment.
- Must have the visual ability to read and understand written communication via computer electronic devices and paper means.
- Must have the manual dexterity to perform electronic device functions such as data collection.
