Position Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist CT to join a diagnostic imaging team in a clinical care setting. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality CT and radiographic examinations while ensuring patient safety comfort and adherence to radiation safety standards.

Qualifications

Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent (Required)
Current New York State License/Registration (Required)
Minimum 1 year of CT/MRI experience as a Radiologic Technologist (Required)
Experience with Siemens CT scanners (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities

Perform CT and radiographic examinations under the direction of supervising radiologists
Greet patients explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety
Accurately position patients and set proper exposure factors for high-quality imaging
Follow all radiation safety and protection protocols
Operate imaging equipment efficiently and report any malfunctions promptly
Process imaging studies and enter patient/exam information into the Radiology Information System (RIS)
Ensure proper daily care and usage of imaging equipment
Adhere to departmental procedures and protocols outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual
Provide radiologic services based on orders from referring physicians and radiologists

Skills & Experience

Minimum 1 year of Radiologic Technology experience (Required)
Strong working knowledge of imaging equipment and radiology procedures
Excellent communication and patient-care skills
High attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
