Collision Center Shop Assistant
Job Summary:
Toyota of Irving is seeking a motivated and reliable Shop Assistant to support the daily operations of our Collision Center. This role is essential in maintaining a clean organized and efficient workspace ensuring that our technicians have the tools and environment needed to provide outstanding service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up and properly dispose of trash throughout the shop.
- Sweep mop and maintain cleanliness of the shop floor and common areas.
- Empty and manage sheet metal cardboard and other recyclables in designated bins.
- Organize clean and restock shop tools equipment and supplies.
- Ensure all hazardous materials are handled and disposed of according to safety regulations.
- Maintain a safe and tidy work environment in compliance with company and OSHA standards.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong work ethic reliability and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of shop tools and equipment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing automotive or collision center environment is a plus.
- Must be punctual and dependable.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand bend and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift push or pull up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a shop environment that may involve noise dust and chemicals.
