Northern Dutchess Hospital is an 84-bed hospital located in picturesque Rhinebeck New York. We are leaders in the Hudson Valley for maternity and orthopedic excellence and provide award-winning care in a wide range of specialties from cancer and heart disease prevention to bariatric surgery and healthy aging services.

Summary of Job Purpose:
- To protect life and property and perform tasks with limited Supervision.
Job Qualifications:
- High School Graduate or Equivalent NYS Security Certification NYS Drivers License.
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Licensure/Registration/Certification: NYS Security Guard License (at a minimum must have completed the 8 hour training course and submitted application for license) NYS Drivers License.
- Work Experience: Law Enforcement or Security Background.
Working Conditions
- Manual: significant manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity
- Occupational: Some occupational risk
- Physical Effort: Very Heavy effort. May exert up to 50 lbs. force
- Physical Environment: Significant exposure to dirt odors noise human waste etc.
