SAP Specialist (MM)

Join our dynamic SAP support team as a SAP Senior Specialist MM for S4 Hana where you will play a key role in optimizing and maintaining our SAP landscape. As a seasoned professional youll leverage your expertise in Materials Management to ensure the smooth functioning of SAP systems troubleshoot issues resolving tickets promptly and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert guidance in SAP MM solutions focusing on purchasing inventory/warehouse management and related integrations;
• Take ownership of ticket resolution applying strong problem-solving skills to address issues efficiently;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Finance Production Planning and Logistics) to resolve SAP-related incidents and problems promptly;
• Perform system analysis design and enhancements to meet business requirements across procurement goods movements and inventory processes;
• Conduct regular system audits and data integrity checks to ensure optimal performance while utilizing SAP best practices;
• Lead initiatives for SAP system upgrades and enhancements considering dependencies with other modules such as FI/CO PP and SD;
• Develop and maintain documentation for SAP configurations processes and procedures;
• Guide the evaluation selection and configuration of procure-to-pay solutions to meet evolving business needs;
• Support and maintain a clean-core initiative by leveraging SAP standard functionality and best practices;
• Implement preventive measures within SAP support processes to enhance stability and optimize supply chain operations.

Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a comparable SAP role (ECC 6 / S4 HANA) with hands-on application management;
• Proven track record of extensive and senior-level experience in SAP demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of Materials Management (MM)including purchasing procurement and inventory managementwith a history of delivering high-impact solutions in a senior capacity;
• Strong candidates will have knowledge and experience with three or more of the following SAP areas: procurement inventory/warehouse management production planning sales operations logistics finance and controlling;
• Strong continuous-improvement mindset excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex SAP MM issues;
• Experience in a discrete manufacturing and/or automotive environment is preferred.

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
• Solid understanding of manufacturing business processes related to the business application(s) concerned;
• Understanding of technical environment of the business application(s) concerned;
• Excellent English (verbal and written);
• Knowledge of basic project management and change management procedures within IT.

Qualifications:

• IT /Business Degree or Equivalent;
• SAP & ITIL Certification is preferred.
