POSITION SUMMARY:

All brands strategy product development and innovation are led and driven by certain PVH affiliates in the US with respect to products under the Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger sold in NA Asia and SA; and in the Netherlands with respect to products bearing the Tommy Hilfiger Europe Calvin Klein Europe with respect and sold in the Asia region. The position in this job description helps the above mentioned PVH related parties meet their operating and strategic needs.

Product focus is including but not limited to knit woven outerwear sweater and denim for both mens and womens.

Own technical development of allocated styles collaborating with Global technical teams and Hub cross functional partners. Ensure consistency of fit across all collections. Guide and share technical knowledge on fitting quality risk mitigation and time management with team members.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Work closely with Design team to build style in PLM system for Vendor to follow for Proto sample making.

• Join Design development meetings providing technical input into construction and execution to achieve the desired design intent.

• Organize and host live model fitting with Design team and Product development team.

• Ability to evaluate garment construction and quality to identify possible risk and testing required additionally be able to provide alternative suggestion to eliminate risk.

• Compile analyze and document clear directional fitting comments in Centric.

• Work closely with Hub sourcing and vendor to manage sample T&A - Assisting where prompt conversation with vendors & action is needed.

• Participate in vendor accreditation training for PP and Fit Approval. Responsible to identify programs/style allocate PP and or Fit Approval to Vendor.

• Create follow and assess yearly SOP set in place internally and externally within the company. Making sure SOP are relevant or follow up with partners necessary updates.

• Build strong relationships with our vendor and cross functional partners.

• Lead and participate in communication with cross functional teams sharing knowledge aiding better alignment.

DECISION MAKING

• Responsible for solving and justify any discrepancy on pattern/grading/YY that might encountered by the vendors.

• Able to make decision on bringing/ altering new benefits which should be beneficial for the brand and company.

RESOURCEFULNESS/CREATIVITY

• Identify create and manage libraries and standards to improve product consistency execution and streamline workload.

• Provide guidance to internal team members and and vendors to ensure our workflow can run seamlessly.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education & Experience:

• Diploma or above in Technical Design Pattern Grading or equivalent.

• University/Engineering degree with 6-8 years of related work experience

Skills:

• Knowledge of fitting pattern making grading construction and testing in related production categories

• Experience in managing subordinate/s.

• Background in tailoring a bonus.

• Solid working knowledge of sewing and stitch properties and overall garment detail.

• Organized and detailed oriented takes immediate action to resolve issues and problems.

• Calibrated mind set which builds good working relationships and leads to team building.

• Excellent communication skills able to communicate effectively across the team and organization.

• Knowledge of live model garment fitting and the ability to instruct a vendor on the garment manufacturability.

• Knowledge of Lectra system.

• Knowledge of PLM system.

• Strong Ms Office Skills (Excel Word PowerPoint & Outlook)

• Fluency in English
