Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies as may be required regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.

About the Role
As a Distribution Specialist you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Madrid Distribution Center. This position combines operational excellence with data-driven decision-making focusing on optimizing processes resolving technical challenges and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-Day Operations:
- Support daily distribution activities to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to maintain service level agreements.
- Data Analytics & Reporting:
- Analyze operational data to identify trends bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Develop dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs and support strategic decisions.
- Technical Issue Resolution:
- Act as the first point of contact for troubleshooting system or process-related issues.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to implement effective solutions.
- Process Improvement:
- Lead initiatives to streamline workflows reduce costs and enhance efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement projects aligned with Lean and Six Sigma principles.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Logistics Engineering or related field.
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Sophisticated Excel PBI & Data Analysis (pivot tables formulas macros)
- ERP Systems Knowledge (SAP JDE or similar)
- SQL Basics for querying operational data
Operational & Process Skills
- Root Cause Analysis and problem-solving methodologies
- Knowledge of Transportation & Distribution Processes
Soft Skills
- Good Communication (to collaborate with multi-functional teams)
- Critical Thinking & Decision-Making
