Schedule: 312-hour shifts
Hours: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Total Weekly Hours: 36
Position Summary
A Registered Respiratory Therapist is needed for a 12-week assignment at a large high-acuity hospital in Cleveland Ohio. The therapist will work with diverse patient populations requiring respiratory support including critical care acute care and emergency care environments.
Key Responsibilities
Provide respiratory care and therapeutic procedures per physician orders and established protocols.
Manage ventilators oxygen therapy nebulizer treatments airway management and other respiratory interventions.
Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as necessary.
Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Perform assessments document patient progress and maintain accurate EMR records.
Respond to rapid response calls emergencies and code situations as required.
Requirements
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in Ohio (or eligibility).
NBRC RRT credential required.
Minimum 1 year of recent acute care hospital experience (critical care experience preferred).
Current BLS (required) ACLS (preferred).
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and weekends/holidays as needed.
Strong clinical judgment respiratory equipment knowledge and communication skills.
