Job Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Occupational Therapist Acute Care Hospitalfor an exciting job in Syracuse NY.
Responsibilities:
Administer Occupational Therapy treatments as prescribed by a physician.
Conduct patient evaluations and establish individualized treatment goals.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals patients and families to support care plans.
Complete required documentation records and reports accurately and timely.
Participate in clinics rounds and conferences to provide patient updates.
Educate and communicate with patient families regarding therapy plans and progress.
Maintain therapy equipment and manage supplies efficiently.
Participate in educational programs and training initiatives for staff as needed.
Provide coverage one weekend per month.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.
Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in New York State.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care and outpatient settings.
Strong interpersonal organizational and clinical decision-making skills.
