Schedule: MondayFriday 08:30 AM 03:30 PM
Pay Rate: $40$45/hr
Job Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Special Education Teacher Autism (Self-Contained)for an exciting job in Sterling VA.
Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction aligned with each students IEP
Implement evidence-based strategies such as ABA visual supports and structured routines
Collect academic and behavioral data to monitor progress and guide planning
Support communication development using AAC and other tools as needed
Collaborate with paraprofessionals therapists and general education teams
Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians
Ensure compliance with district and federal special education guidelines
Qualifications:
Valid Virginia Special Education teaching license or eligibility
Experience working with students on the Autism Spectrum
Strong behavior-support and classroom-management skills
Familiarity with structured teaching models (e.g. TEACCH) preferred
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
CPI or behavior intervention certification preferred
