Hours of work: 32.5 hours per week (TA-27.5 hours & MDSA-5 hours)
Working pattern: Part-time Term-time only (working for39weeks per year plus6.05weeks annual leave which will increase after 5 years continuous service)
(As the position is part-time/term-time only the above salary will be pro rata)
Fixed term for: 18 months

Teaching Assistant 2and Mid-Day Supervisory Assistant required from January 2026 based at Laughton CP School

TA (Single Status Grade 3) 24 027(pro rata)

MDSA (Single Status Grade 2) 23656(pro rata)

Our small friendly and supportive school is looking to recruit a TA2 (27.5hrs) and MDSA (5hrs) from January 2026

The successful candidate will:

  • Be able to work with a group of pupils understanding and using the group dynamics to promote group effectiveness and support group and individual performance
  • Have vision energy and enthusiasm
  • Be able to motivate and inspire children and adults
  • Have excellent communication interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Have a good understanding of meeting the needs of vulnerable learners
  • Be committed to celebrating diversity and inclusion
  • Promote positive play at playtimes

We require a caring and conscientious person who will enjoy working as part of our dedicated staff team and who can commit to the ethos of our school. We strongly support the Growth Mindset values within our creative curriculum.
