The impact you will have:

As a Sr. Red Hat Technical Architect you will help customers realize the value of the extended Red Hat platform and act as the chief evangelist for Red Hat technologies within Softchoice. You will also be the face of Softchoice to the Red Hat partner and field teams aligning the Softchoice value proposition with the Red Hat value proposition to deliver world-class services and solutions to expand the Softchoice customer portfolio.

What youll do:

  • Build and develop complex customer solutions based on Red Hat technologies
  • Collaborate with internal technologists to deliver end-to-end infrastructure and software solutions
  • Providing Pre-Sales Support to the sales organization and our customers
  • Possess a high degree of Red Hat portfolio knowledge understanding how to position the value of Red Hat solutions
  • Have knowledge of Red Hat pricing programs/buying vehicles pricing policies and procedures product promotions and deal registrations
  • Pipeline management activities and ability to manage track and forecast sales opportunity pipeline
  • Analyze sales participation and proactively suggest opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain up-to-date Red Hat sales and technical certifications and attend Red Hat Hybrid Cloudand Softchoice meetings training and events where required
  • Work closely with Red Hat Sales Softchoice Sales and Distribution to maximize scale without disruption to day-to-day process
  • Develop weekly and monthly program reporting to Sr. Leadership

What youll bring to the table:

  • A minimum of 5 years direct sales or pre-sales experience in the technology industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills and previous experience presenting to large groups
  • A University degree or College Diploma preferred
  • Will travel as needed for customer and/or internal meetings up to 25%
  • Experience working with a technology reseller preferredacross multiple hardware and software vendors
  • Multiple Technical Certifications for Red Hat required
