Job Summary

Lower Merion School District is hiring a School Counselor at Lower Merion High School.

PA Certification inPA Certification in School Counseling K-12 required.3-5 years counseling experience preferred. Ability to meet the needs of students parents faculty and staff through various service systems. Knowledge of PSSA; SAP process; 504s IEPs and GIEPs. Knowledge of the standards and practices of national and local guiding associations: ASCA and PSCA.

Out-of-state educators should explore PAs reciprocity guidelines set by the PA Department of Education. Pennsylvania Certification information is available at standing relative to Act 48 credits. Child abuse PA State Police and FBI clearances (no less than one year from date ofhire)

Salary and benefits set by LMEA Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is anticipated to begin March 2026
