Job Summary

Bayswater Toronto is a private ESL schoollocatedat North York Centre station.Inadditionto ESL classes we offer professional certificate courses inproject management digital marketing international business management and customer experience management.

KeyDuties and Responsibilities

Teachanin-personfour-weekproject managementcoursefrom 9 am 12:15 pm Monday Friday.

Deliver classes on introductory project management topics.(Project PlanningAgileStakeholder Management Quality Control etc.)

Helpgroups of12-15 international students develop skills in project management andEnglish language communication.

Use SMART board and present digital curriculum.

Administer and assess weekly quizzes.

Designmonitor and assessareal-world project.

Host guest speakers and connect lectures to class material.

Lead visitstoproject sites or offices.

Complete attendance and administer course learning management system.

Submit timesheets and follow all policies and procedures in the Teacher Handbook.

Knowledge Qualificationsand Experience

Essential

TESL diploma recognized by Languages Canada (TESL Canada Level 1 TESL Ontario CELTA)

Degree or diploma in project management or applicable field

3 years project management experience

Desirable

PMP certification

Project management teaching experience at the post-secondary level

Experience teaching or training English language learners

Skills and Attributes

Ability to work in a diverse environment and collaborate with others

Ability to use technology in and out of the classroom (SMART board MS Office LMS etc.)

Creative lesson content and design
