This positions home base will be at our Woodruff Health Sciences facility on Clifton Rd.

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Field Technician to provide dedicated hands-on technical support to our executive leadership team. This role requires exceptional professionalism discretion and technical expertise to ensure seamless operation of IT systems critical to executive productivity and hospital operations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment balancing technical troubleshooting with outstanding customer service for our executive team. This position will primarily service our Woodruff Health Sciences Center Administration Building on Clifton Road but will be required to service a variety of locations in that general area where executive team members and their staff may be working at.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver white-glove IT support to Emory Healthcares executive team including C-suite leaders and senior administrators.

  • Provide on-site troubleshooting for hardware software mobile devices and network connectivity.

  • Manage and maintain executive workstations laptops tablets smartphones and peripheral devices a variety of both Windows and Apple devices.

  • Ensure secure and reliable access to hospital systems including EMR/EHR platforms collaboration tools and communication systems.

  • Support video conferencing presentations and boardroom technology for executive meetings.

  • Coordinate with IT infrastructure networking and security teams to resolve escalated issues promptly.

  • Maintain detailed documentation of incidents resolutions and asset inventory.

  • Proactively monitor and optimize executive IT environments to minimize downtime.

  • Train and guide executives and their support staff on new technologies and best practices.

  • Uphold strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and hospital IT security policies.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as an IT Field Technician Desktop Support Specialist or similar role providing executive level staff support with high expectations for responsiveness.

  • Expertise in troubleshooting hardware software and network issues.

  • Excellent communication interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field OR Two years of information technology experience OR four years Information Technology experience without a degree.
  • A Certification preferred or another Information Services related Certification.
