We now have a6 month fixed-term full-time opportunityfor aVineyard Machinery Operator to join us
In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day vineyard machinery addition to this it also includes vineyard maintenance work as and when required. You will also be playing a part of the yearly harvest. As a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual youll be a part of a team who are passionate about creating wines that youll want to share.
This role is based at Wither Hills in Marlborough. We are a Company with vineyards spread across the Wairau plains.
Some of the skills you will bring:
- A current full drivers license.
- Spraying experience or Growsafe
- A good level of physical fitness.
- Previous experience in a vineyard. You may have other skills which could be transferable to a vineyard situation.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Exposure to handling multiple deadlines.
- Positive attitude.
Activities youll be doing:
- Operating Tractor and machinery in vineyard operations (e.g. Spraying trimming mowing).
- General vineyard duties as required.
- Involved in the harvest operations.
- Irrigation maintenance and operation
