Descrizione del ruolo

La persona selezionata per il ruolo di Construction Manager riportando direttamente al management aziendale sarà responsabile di tutte le azioni strategiche e operative che portino il progetto alla conclusione nel rispetto dei tempi e del budget.

Dotata di forte autonomia operativa dovrà avere esperienza nella gestione della progettazione del cantiere dei costi del cronoprogramma e del coordinamento di team. Capace di gestire lintero ciclo di vita del progetto metterà in atto i processi e i metodi per guidare il team i consulenti e i subappaltatori soprattutto in progetti tecnicamente complessi monitorando gli elementi del percorso critico e comunicando tempestivamente alla leadership potenziali rischi e ritardi.

Avendo una funzione di responsabilità in termini di budget e margine dovrà possedere competenze specialistiche in tema di costi di costruzione incluse stime valutazione delle offerte dei subappaltatori monitoraggio dei costi di cantiere acquisti diretti verifica dei SAL attivi e passivi value engineering cashflow e forecast mensili.

Riporterà al management per la verifica delle gare di appalto e per la verifica tecnico-commerciale dei contratti. Si farà promotore delle azioni necessarie a ottimizzare il lavoro del team per integrare e rendere trasversali le azioni di ciascuna disciplina.

Sarà il punto di riferimento e la figura responsabile dellandamento del progetto sia per lazienda che per la clientela.

Responsabilità principali

  • Punto di riferimento del progetto per il management aziendale
  • Gestione rapporti con la clientela e i consulenti (PM designer DL CSE)
  • Coordinamento team multidisciplinari (progettazione pianificazione construction/site management)
  • Gestione dellintero ciclo di vita del progetto
  • Supporto al dipartimento legale per verifica e negoziazione contratti
  • Monitoraggio andamento finanziario della commessa: controllo costi e margini con relative azioni preventive o correttive
  • Redazione cashflow e forecast dei costi
  • Valutazione offerte dei subappaltatori e responsabilità del margine della commessa
  • Approvazione fatture e pianificazione degli acquisti
  • Definizione strategie cronoprogramma e impostazione cantiere
  • Selezione subappaltatori e gestione della reportistica

Competenze e requisiti

  • Piena autonomia nella pianificazione e gestione delle commesse
  • Eccellenti capacità di leadership e coordinamento di team multidisciplinari composti da professionisti del design e tecnici di cantiere
  • Programmazione e controllo delle attività tecniche e delle risorse necessarie per garantire la produzione pianificata
  • Capacità negoziali e di problem-solving
  • Conoscenza approfondita ed esperienza nel settore delle costruzioni
  • Forte attitudine a lavorare in ambienti multidisciplinari e internazionali
  • Predisposizione al miglioramento continuo e sviluppo di processi aziendali
  • Laurea in Ingegneria o Architettura
  • Buona conoscenza della lingua inglese parlata e scritta
  • Competenza nellutilizzo di Office e MS Project

Role Description

The Construction Manager reporting directly to company management will be responsible for all strategic and operational activities that bring projects to completion within agreed timelines and budgets.

Operating with strong autonomy the successful candidate must have experience in managing design construction sites costs schedules and team coordination. Capable of managing the entire project lifecycle they will implement processes and methods to guide teams consultants and subcontractors particularly on technically complex projects monitoring critical path elements and promptly communicating potential risks and delays to leadership.

With responsibility for budget and margin performance the role requires specialized expertise in construction costs including estimates subcontractor bid evaluation construction cost monitoring direct purchasing active and passive progress payment verification value engineering cashflow and monthly forecasting.

The Construction Manager will report to management for tender reviews and technical-commercial contract verification. They will champion necessary actions to optimize team performance integrating and creating synergies across all disciplinary activities.

This role serves as the primary point of contact and accountability for project performance for both the company and clients.

  • Client and consultant relationship management (PM designers DL CSE)
  • Multidisciplinary team coordination (design planning construction/site management professionals)
  • Complete project lifecycle management
  • Legal department support for contract review and negotiation
  • Financial performance monitoring: cost and margin control with preventive or corrective actions
  • Cashflow preparation and cost forecasting
  • Subcontractor bid evaluation and project margin accountability
  • Invoice approval and procurement planning
  • Schedule strategy development and construction site setup
  • Subcontractor selection and reporting management

Skills and Requirements

  • Complete autonomy in project planning and management
  • Excellent leadership and coordination skills for multidisciplinary teams of design professionals and construction technicians
  • Technical activity programming and resource control to ensure planned production delivery
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving capabilities
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in the construction sector
  • Strong aptitude for working in multidisciplinary and international environments
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and business process development
  • Degree in Engineering or Architecture
  • Proficient spoken and written English
  • Proficiency in Office suite and MS Project
