Engineering Intern

What Youll Do:

• Complete hands-on training: Participate in an immersive training program to gain foundational knowledge and practical skills in design engineering processes.
• Optimize equipment shipments: Collaborate with design engineering and manufacturing teams to improve the efficiency and volume of material handling equipment shipments.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts: Facilitate communication between Drafting Mechanical Planning and the Shop to ensure alignment with customer requirements and specifications.
• Support project engineering: Assist Project Engineers with technical aspects of project work contributing to successful project execution.
• Enhance marketing materials: Work closely with Drafting to create updated marketing images that drive increased market share.
• Study manufacturing processes: Gain a deep understanding of Martins unique manufacturing and support functions identifying opportunities for efficiency and innovation.

What Youll Bring:

• Develop engineering expertise: Actively pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering (or related majors).
• Apply mechanical and mathematical skills: Utilize moderate to complex math and strong mechanical aptitude to support engineering solutions and contribute to project success.
• Enhance interpersonal and communication skills: Willing to grow strong communication and teamwork abilities working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
• Demonstrate self-management: Cultivate the ability to manage tasks and priorities independently with a drive to succeed and consistently achieve goals.
• Focus on accuracy and detail: Maintain a strong attention to detail ensuring high-quality work and precision in every project or task.
