Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Onsite Lead IT Support Engineer to oversee and manage a team of customer-facing engineers. This role requires strong leadership technical expertise and a proactive approach to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management:
Lead mentor and supervise a team of onsite engineers fostering collaboration and professional growth.Operational Oversight:
Coordinate daily activities including incident response service requests installations upgrades and preventive maintenance.Service Excellence:
Ensure adherence to SLAs processes and company standards for all service delivery.Resource Planning:
Plan schedule and allocate resources for field operations to meet contractual deadlines and client expectations.Technical Support:
Provide guidance and troubleshooting during BAU activities including maintenance and repair tasks.Compliance & Safety:
Enforce compliance with safety regulations company policies and industry standards at all times.Client Engagement:
Act as the primary point of contact for operational queries maintaining strong relationships and clear communication.Reporting & Escalation:
Monitor progress prepare reports and escalate issues when necessary.Continuous Improvement:
Drive initiatives to enhance efficiency service quality documentation knowledge sharing and customer satisfaction.Cross-Functional Coordination:
Collaborate with project management account management and logistics teams for seamless execution.Cybersecurity & Training:
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and data protection policies including completion of mandatory training.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Technical certification or Associate Degree preferred
- 46 years of experience in IT support or related field
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure troubleshooting and service management principles
