A career in Deals Valuations will provide you with the opportunity to help organizations unlock greater value from existing businesses and assets as well as new acquisitions investments and complex corporate arrangements. Our focus is on a series of services such as valuations to support financial reporting M&A tax and corporate reorganizations as well as valuation advice including deal pricing and value consulting to support management decisions related to transactions and corporate short upon being a member of our team you will support clients to make profound strategic decisions on value better conduct business transactions and decisions and satisfy regulatory requirements leveraging your professional skills and in-depth industry knowledge.Meaningful workyoullbe a part of:
As a Senior Associateyoullwork as part of a team of problem solvers helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Business Valuation
Understand the business/assets being valued its historical and projected performance as well as key strengths and challenges
Conduct financial research into industry and general economic conditions discount rates/cost of capital valuation multiples for relevant public companies and precedent transactions
Engage clients in discussions around their business including operations and financial items to further our valuation analysis
Preparecomplexvaluation models tosupportandarrive atvaluationconclusions
Assistin report preparation
Perform audit support work including the review of purchase price allocations goodwill impairmentassessmentsand private equity portfolio company valuations
As part of the Deals group you will work with colleagues across all lines of services to deliver valuations alongside other services provided by PwC

This role best suits a team player with a CPA/CA/CFAdesignation (other accounting orfinance-baseddesignations will be considered)
Progress towards completion of the Chartered Business Valuator(CBV)designation would be anasset

The salary range for this position is $54700-$91200.The posted salary rangerepresentsthe expected hiring range for PwC locations in major citycentres. Given our national recruiting approach ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada base salary isdeterminedby your skills experiencequalificationsand work location.In addition to base salary eligible employees may have opportunities toparticipatein variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
