Job Summary
Position Title: PACU Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Falmouth MA 02540
Job Type: Contract
Shift: Day 58-hour shifts
Local Pay Range: $60$65/hr
Position Summary
The PACU RN provides safe and effective post-anesthesia and post-operative care. Responsibilities include patient monitoring medication management accurate documentation and coordinating care with the healthcare team. Strong critical-care skills and a focus on patient safety are essential.
Responsibilities
Provide post-anesthesia and post-op patient care.
Monitor vital signs and patient responses.
Perform timely and accurate clinical documentation.
Develop and update individualized plans of care.
Communicate effectively with the care team.
Assist as Charge Nurse when needed.
Follow all safety and infection control protocols.
Support orientation and education of nursing staff.
Participate in required meetings and training.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Active Massachusetts RN license.
Current BLS ACLS and PALS certifications.
Competency in IV starts hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator care.
One year of recent experience in ICU CVICU ER CVPA or SDC/PACU (within last 5 years).
Ability to participate in on-call rotations.
Strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
BSN
Recent PACU or Same Day Care experience (within last 5 years)
