COMPENSATION:
- $150000 - $210000/year

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Business Economics or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of contract surety underwriting experience preferably with large contract accounts.
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis credit risk assessment and construction industry dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation communication and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Strong decision-making skills with a results-driven approach.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Underwrite and manage a portfolio of large contract surety accounts ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines and risk appetite.
Analyze financial statements credit reports and other relevant data to assess risk and make informed underwriting decisions.
Evaluate contractors financial strength management capabilities and operational history to determine surety bond eligibility.
Collaborate with brokers agents and internal stakeholders to structure competitive and profitable surety bond programs.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry players including brokers agents and construction firms.
Monitor market trends industry developments and regulatory changes affecting the surety business.
