Job Summary
BND Contracting is seeking an experienced inside manual machinist with at least 1 year of manual and CNC machining experience.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with manual and CNC machining
- Proficiency in operating manual mills lathes and drill presses
- Ability to use measuring tools (dial calipers and micrometers)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints work orders and work instructions
- Strong understanding of machining techniques and best practices
- Attention to detail and precision in fabricating components
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with other team members and departments
- Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in a machining environment
Responsibilities
- Operate manual mills lathes and drill presses to fabricate machine components
- Use measuring tools such as dial calipers and micrometers to ensure precision
- Read and interpret blueprints work orders and work instructions to complete tasks accurately
- Perform quality checks on finished components to ensure they meet specifications
