Job Summary
Responsibilities
Peraton is currently seeking a Behavioral Research Scientist to provide support for research and training course development projects in support of a DoD customer.
This is a part-time role.
Location: Remote work allowed 100%.
In this role you will conduct research using behavioral science principles methodologies and technologies in an applied government setting.
Responsibilities of this position include:
- Supporting behavioral science and social science research projects for the Department of Defense.
- Work cooperatively with team members to ensure quality timeliness and accuracy of research products.
- Writing reports and developing documentation.
- Supporting the development and instruction of course related to risk.
- Areas of research include but are not limited to the following:
- Personnel Security Clearances
- Personnel Placement and Suitability
- Suicide Prevention
- Sexual Assault Prevention and Response
- Espionage and Insider Threat
Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
- 5 years of relevant experience with a BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- The ability to obtain/hold a Secret security clearance.
Preferred:
- Masters degree in a Behavioral Science field such as Psychology Sociology or Criminal Justice is highly preferred.
