Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Testing and Commissioning Manager to lead and oversee all commissioning activities for large-scale solar projects in Rabbigh Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of dedicated experience in solar PV projects and a proven track record in managing testing and commissioning works from pre-commissioning to final handover.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the planning execution and management of testing and commissioning activities for utility-scale solar projects.
- Supervise pre-commissioning commissioning and start-up of electrical systems including inverters transformers switchgear SCADA and protection systems.
- Review and approve method statements testing procedures and commissioning schedules.
- Coordinate with EPC teams subcontractors and OEMs to ensure all systems are commissioned according to specifications and standards.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety quality and regulatory compliance during commissioning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues arising during the commissioning process.
- Maintain and manage documentation including test reports punch lists and handover documents.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to site teams and ensure timely project delivery.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 10 to 15 years of total experience with a minimum of 10 years in solar power projects.
- Proven experience in testing and commissioning of utility-scale solar PV systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems grid compliance protection systems and SCADA integration.
- Familiarity with international standards (e.g. IEC IEEE NFPA).
- Excellent problem-solving leadership and communication skills.
- Willingness to relocate and work full-time in Rabbigh Saudi Arabia.
