Purpose of the role
The Senior Director Performance Analytics will work with various internal digital marketing and PR practice groups to develop measurement strategy and measurement framework monitor performance and develop data-based insights. The Senior Director Performance Analytics will have a strong understanding of various data sources (such as organic and paid social paid media web analytics etc.) and will work directly with the data management team to develop client presentations.
Key responsibilities and tasks
- Develop measurement strategy and measurement framework for clients.
- Create and present measurement plans for clients and internal teams to ensure that campaign goals and KPIs directly align with client goals and expectations.
- Independently lead a data-driven strategy and implementation conducting advanced analysis within and across all measured platforms.
- Monitor performance through analytics platforms such as Google Analytics Adobe Analytics Google Data Studio (GDS) Tableau Excel Supermetrics Google Sheets etc.
- Analyze performance across multiple digital platforms such as paid and organic social media (Facebook Twitter Instagram LinkedIn) social and media listening tools (Meltwater) and e-commerce (Target/Criteo Walmart and Amazon).
- Conduct A/B testing historical analysis and identify performance issues proactively by regularly reviewing data.
- Summarize results provide key insights and make strategic recommendations using data through customized PowerPoint presentations and dashboards.
- Develop strong relationships with clients and internal teams to serve as a reliable strategic partner of analytics.
- Work closely with Lead Data Engineer to streamline data collection and aggregation and to ensure that all data management best practices are implemented across the agency.
- Proactively apply the use of data to answer client questions assist internal practice groups and create new organic business opportunities.
About you
- At least 8-10 years of agency experience in a digital marketing role with a focus in analytics
- Deep knowledge and experience using organic and paid social paid media PR and/or web analytics to monitor campaign results
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel Google Sheets Google Analytics/Adobe Analytics Social Media Paid Media and Google Data Studio
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong PowerPoint presentation skills
- Accountability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Organized dependable responsible proactive
- Ensure excellent communications to team and leads quickly and professionally

The expected salary range for the Sr. Director Performance Analytics position is between $125K - $160K. Base annual salary is determined by factors such as location experience and expertise.
