Job Summary
Manager Notes:
- This role is On-site at WHQ; typical work hours WFH Fridays
- Degree required for this role; minimum Bachelors but HM would prefer MBA
- PMP certification nice to have not required
- Minimum 7 years experience required in a program/project management role
Please note: HM is NOT looking for IT program/project managers. Those who have experience leading programs or projects with people strategy experience will be prioritized.
Top must-have skills include the following:
- Expert using Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)
- Organized
- Proactive in communication
- Stakeholder engagement; ETW will be working directly with high-level execs and VPs so effective communication is necessary
- Effective communication (verbal and written) skills
Skills that would make a candidate stand out:
- Possesses an MBA degree
- Previous program/project management experience in an HR/organizational transformation space
- This ETW will oversee several project workstreams to assist with contract management; specifically they will be tracking milestones to see how well teams are doing regarding divestiture work
- This resource will work on a smaller direct team but will work largely cross-functionally between VPs other executives HR senior management etc.
- Confidentiality will be a key in this role
The nature of the work is focused on defining tools and processes to support overall organizational excellence in program/project management and process definition. Vision and Strategy: Develops vision strategy and deliverables of the large international Program. Ensures program is aligned with business strategies and budgets. Owns the business case for the Program establishes and maintains cross functional and regional coordination. Organization Planning and Execution: Maintains ultimate responsibility regarding program objectives operating within financial and resource constraints; Manages project dependencies within the program and builds the program team. Ensures vendor contracts relationships performance and communications are well managed. Project Management Support: Ensures proper Project Management staffing for all projects within the program; helps develop project objectives and project scope. Act as an escalation point for project issues that impact projects cost schedule and / or performance. Chairs program steering committee meetings.
