Account & Finance Trainee

Industry & Sector: Food & Beverage / Agricommodities (rice processing packaging and distribution) operating in FMCG/export markets. We are hiring an onsite Accounting Intern in India to support daytoday finance operations learn handson accounting workflows and contribute to accurate financial reporting for a fastmoving manufacturing and export business.

Position: Accounting Intern (Onsite India)

Role & Responsibilities

• Support daytoday bookkeeping: post invoices process purchase and sales vouchers and maintain ledgers using accounting software.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable workflowsverify vendor invoices prepare payment runs and follow up on receivables.
• Perform bank reconciliations and routine ledger reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
• Prepare and maintain Excel spreadsheets for expense tracking cashflow monitoring and basic monthly reports.
• Help compile GST returns maintain tax records and coordinate with external tax consultants on documentation.
• Support monthend closing tasks and provide documentation for audits and internal reviews.

Qualifications & Other Requirements

• Pursuing or completed Bachelors degree in Commerce Accounting Finance or related field.
• Prior internship or coursework in accounting/finance is a plus; eagerness to learn and work onsite in India required.
• Availability for a minimum internship period (typically 36 months) and immediate or short notice joiners preferred.
