Job Overview
The Project Manager-Process will serve as an operations lead and direct an operations team responsible for developing operation plans for new product development (PPT) and product improvement (IPT) from product/process design product design capital equipment design material procurement strategy and financial viability. Continuous efforts to ensure our teams meet or exceed our safety quality productivity and manufacturing cost goals.
Highlights of your role
- PROJECT MANAGEMENT-PROCESS
- Provide input to the project scope budget and master schedule.
- Lead Operation Teams to develop operations plan and execution utilizing the stage-gate methodology.
- Facilitate cross-functional operations team meetings.
- Manage ownership of operations project tasks and identify the appropriate resource ownership per stage-gate task and deliverable check lists.
- Participate in PPT/IPT development activities to ensure Design for MFG & Automation feasibility.
- FORWARD THINKING: Improve project & process efficiency and reduce costs while meeting or exceeding company business goals.
- COMMUNICATION:
- Strong thorough and proactive communication skills are an expectation along with the responsibility for creating a team environment to ensure we are stronger together.
- Communication of project(s) status and deliverables to key stakeholders at Leadership Gate Reviews and Executives at ERP Gate Reviews.
- LEADERSHIP
- Direct team members to ensure project success through the stage-gate process.
- Be a self-directive and time manager.
- Be an operational liaison between functional areas while building and maintaining those functional relationships
- Provide customer service to all facilities
- Ensure there is a balance between ease of Product MFG and Design
Youre a good fit if you have (or if you can)
- Education/Training: Bachelors degree (B.A.) from a four-year college/university in engineering or a related field required.
- Computer skills to perform this job successfully an individual should have knowledge of manufacturing software (ICIM/ARDIS/OMS/Paradigm/Batch Files) and working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook Power Point Visio and Access) SmartSheet and Marvin Docs experience is helpful.
- Experience in Leading and Managing projects
- A minimum of 1-3 years of process engineering or equivalent combination of training and/or manufacturing experience is required
- Ability to manage multiple mid-level PPT/IPT projects
- Ability to travel as required
